Open House at The Oaks Parent-Child Workshop

The Oaks, a cooperative preschool rooted in play-based learning and family participation, is hosting its biannual Open House on Saturday, September 13th, from 10am-12pm at 605 W. Junipero St, Santa Barbara 93105.

Serving children ages 2 years, 6 months through 5 years, The Oaks has been a cornerstone for generations of Santa Barbara families who value both their child’s early learning and being part of a supportive school community. Families who choose The Oaks often do so for the chance to take an active role in their child’s preschool experience, learn more about child development, and contribute to a vibrant, nurturing environment.

The Open House is a unique opportunity for families to:

• Tour the school, including the beloved outdoor classroom designed for exploration and discovery.
• Meet teachers and current families who help shape the cooperative experience.
• Learn how The Oaks fosters curiosity, creativity, and connection through play-based, mixed-age learning.

Attending an Open House or school visit is the first step before joining the waitlist or enrolling at The Oaks. Families interested in applying for future enrollment are encouraged to attend this event.
