The League of Women Voters of Santa Barbara will present a virtual information forum about Proposition 50, the California redistricting proposal.
A statewide special election on November 4 will ask voters to either approve or reject Proposition 50.
We will address the origins of Prop 50, what it says, what it will do, what it won’t do, what proponents and opponents say about it, and how it will affect Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo Counties.
There will also be information about the mechanics of this special election, such as when ballots will be mailed, how to return ballots, deadline for registering to vote, and other pertinent information.
Attendees will be able to ask questions using the Chat function of the webinar.
The presentation will be recorded and available for later viewing on the LWV Santa Barbara YouTube channel in both English and Spanish.
