On Saturday, November 22, 2025, the Santa Barbara Blues Society is proud to present award-winning saxophonist and singer Vanessa Collier in her first ever Santa Barbara appearance.
A native Texan, Collier grew up in Maryland and graduated from Boston’s famed Berklee School of Music. For two years she was part of the band of blues legend Joe Louis Walker. She has released a half dozen albums and toured extensively. She has been nominated by the Blues Foundation for eleven prestigious Blues Music Awards and has four: for Contemporary Female Blues Artist of the Year, and three, including in 2025, for Horn Player of the Year.
Doors will open at 7:00 PM; advance ticket purchasers will be allowed to enter at 6:45 PM. Collier and her band will play two sets, starting at 7:30 PM. The venue has an outdoor patio and a large, spring-loaded dance floor; beverages will be available. All ages.
