Address (map)

346 Bell Street, Los Alamos

Please join us on Sunday, November 16th from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Maker’s Son in Los Alamos to celebrate all the ways we help the most vulnerable animals find their way home. You will enjoy good food and wine, a fabulous silent auction and the company of other local animal lovers.

Founded in 2009, Shadow’s Fund is dedicated to bringing hope and second chances to the most vulnerable animals. Shadow’s Fund operates a 100-acre sanctuary and safe haven for shelter dogs at risk of euthanasia, horses who cannot be ridden and farm animals who have been abandoned or neglected. Shadow’s Fund works closely with local animal welfare agencies to provide behavioral support for dogs struggling in shelters, and they help families in our community to care for their dogs and keep them in the home rather than surrendering them to shelters.

Shadow’s Fund is a 501(c)(3). The benefit directly supports the operation of the sanctuary—currently home to 50 dogs, as well as horses and pigs—and funds community programs that prevent pets from entering shelters and helps shelter dogs find permanent homes.
