Josh Graining, the speaker at tonight’s Santa Barbara County Horticultural Society meeting, will show us how to capture and use precious rainwater with other tips to improve the health of your garden and reduce your water bill.
Rain gardens can cut down on irrigation needs, reduce stormwater runoff, increase groundwater recharge, and improve soil heal to foster healthier plants. Josh studied environmental horticulture at SBCC and has a certificate in permaculture design. He is a member-owner of Regen.coop, a local company that specializes in regenerative, ecological landscaping using native and climate-appropriate plants.
