The Santa Barbara Elks Lodge and Theatre Eclectic are partnering in a theatrical fundraiser to support Theatre Eclectic’s mission to provide the community with free public theater.

On January 30, 2026, Theatre Eclectic presents Smiling Through It All, that will showcase two one act comedies – Neighborhood Watch by local playwright, Lynne Herrell, and The Proposal by Anton Chekhov – beginning at 8 pm, and open to the public as well as members of the Elks Lodge.

Tickets will be available at the door (no advanced sales) for $15. (The Elks Lodge will offer a dinner for members only before the public show – dinner and show for $20.)

Theatre Eclectic has as its mission the goal to serve underrepresented artists and under served audiences by offering free public theatre (e.g., performances and readings at local retirement/senior communities).

Join us for Smiling Through It All: An evening with Two One Act Plays, Friday, January 30, at 8 pm (doors open at 7:45 pm), tickets for the show only, $15 at the door, at the Elks Lodge, 150 N. Kello0gg Ave., Goleta.
