Get ready to celebrate the season! The UCSB Affiliates Board is excited to invite our Santa Barbara community to the Affiliates Holiday Social on Wednesday, December 10 from 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM at The Goleta Spot.
Join us for a festive evening dedicated to connection! Come mingle with fellow community members and hear directly from the UCSB Affiliates Board about our successful year, future plans, and how you can get involved in 2026.
We are excited to be hosting this year’s celebration at The Goleta Spot! Guests will receive an exclusive first look at this new community gathering space before its official public opening (in the former home of The Elephant Bar, for those who remember). We are delighted to share this unique preview with you, our valued UCSB Affiliates community!
The UCSB Affiliates is led by a volunteer board of community members and campus representatives passionate about creating innovative and community- centered programming. The goal of the UCSB Affiliates is to build and celebrate connections between UC Santa Barbara and the greater Santa Barbara community. We provide a pathway for community members to learn more about UC Santa Barbara and participate in campus activities. Through our events and newsletters, we highlight exciting campus-community partnerships and initiatives.
