Blind Fitness celebrates National White Cane Awareness Day every year in October.
Join us in celebrating the power and purpose of the white cane Saturday, October 11th from 9:30 – 12:00 pm
For people who are blind or have low vision, the white cane is more than just a tool – it’s a symbol of freedom, independence, and safety.
It makes it possible to travel confidently through daily life, whether at work, school, outdoors, or around the community.
White Cane Awareness Day shines a spotlight on the vital role of the white cane in empowering individuals to live fully while educating the public about its true significance.
This year we are thrilled to partner with The Braille Institute!
