Whether you’re a lifelong Buddhist, want to reconnect with your Buddhist roots, or are curious about Buddhism come join the Buddhist Church of Santa Barbara (BCSB)’s monthly Dharma service
Join us at our picturesque temple on Santa Barbara’s Eastside on Saturday October 11 at 10 am for a Buddhist service that includes moments to quiet the mind, chanting of traditional texts called sutras, and hearing a dharma message from guest priest, Rev. Blake Honda from the Oxnard Buddhist Temple.
A complimentary lunch with refreshments will be served afterwards. Newcomers are welcome and we’re excited to discuss any questions you have!
BCSB is part of the 800-year-old Jodo Shinshu tradition of Japanese Pure Land Buddhism and has been rooted in Santa Barbara since 1913.
