Some people call the Brasscals “a street brass band,” while others call their sound “honk” music. Either way, it’s a stew of New Orleans–style second-line marching band jazz, klezmer, funk, Duke Ellingtonia, Mexican, pop, and anything designed to make your electrons twitch.
