Remembering "Dr J"

Even memory is not necessary for love.
There is a land of the living
and a land of the dead, and the bridge is love,
the only survival, the only meaning.

Were it not for this great man I would not be a teacher today.

Attended the teacher program the year Dr. J was called to heaven. His kindness, collegiality, and love for the teaching profession have inspired me to do whatever it takes to meet the needs of my students for the past twenty years. Your are missed but never forgotten.

He was my closest colleague and a wonderful friend.
I still miss his wit, compassion, and his life affirming energy.
