The Karl Denson Trio dropped heady jazz on a nice-sized crowd at
SOhO last night, and here’s a three-minute glimpse of what you
missed. That’s Karl on flute, Anthony Smith on organ (playing a
mean bassline too from the keys), and Brett Sanders (who looks like
a cross between Snoop Dogg when he bites his lower lip and Jimmy
“Dynomite!” Walker when he doesn’t) on drums.
