The boy is back in town The Grapevine host and
all-around personality Gabe Saglie is returning to Santa Barbara
from his two-year sojourn in New York. The folks at Elements gave
him a proper welcome last night: a winemaker dinner featuring the
vintages from Ampelos Cellars and Consilience Winery.

Treats from out of town International Deli
& Market has opened at the crossroads of Hollister Avenue,
Modoc Road, and State Street. As the name suggests, international
products are key, with a focus on Russian imports like salami,
cheeses, and dry goods.

Hola aloha Keep your ojos peeled for a Santa
Barbara branch of the chain Maui Tacos. The restaurant, which
started in Hawai‘i dishing up Mexican fare with a touch of the
Islands, is planning to roll out more than 50 California locations
during the next seven years.
