On 5/22 a collision in Goleta left 21-year-old Candy Yang with a broken skull and facial cuts and fractures. Yang was hit head-on by a van on Los Carneros Road, north of El Colegio. The van’s driver – 20-year-old Dane Brian – was allegedly driving under the influence of drugs. The accident is still under investigation.
