Goleta Stabbings May Be Linked

Thu May 31, 2007 | 06:00am

Two men were stabbed in separate incidents early on 5/27 in Goleta. The Santa Barbara County sheriff’s department hasn’t connected the attacks, which happened roughly four miles apart. The first victim was a 20-year-old male who was stabbed three times outside a party on Mallard Avenue. The second victim showed up at Goleta Valley Hospital, saying he had been attacked from behind by three or four Hispanic males. There is no evidence either attack was gang-related.
