New Bike Path to Commemorate Boysel

The Caltrans Safe Routes to School Program awarded $1 million for the construction of a bike path commemorating former La Colina Junior High student Jake Boysel, who died after being hit by an SUV last September while riding his bicycle. The path – dubbed the Jake Boysel Multi-Purpose Pathway – will separate bicyclists from cars on the roadways near La Colina Junior High, Vieja Valley Elementary, and Hope Elementary.
