County Fights to Curb Chronic Homelessness

In an effort to curb chronic homelessness in Santa Barbara County, the Goleta City Council was recently presented with information on and suggestions for reforming the current ways in which the county deals with its homeless population. The 10-year plan titled Bringing Our Community Home will be discussed in cities throughout the county and will focus on how the roughly $30 million a year spent by the county can be successfully used to treat and prevent homelessness.
