Mobile Phone Voice-to-Text Summary a Hit

CallWave, a Santa Barbara-based company traded on the Nasdaq, announced that its voicemail-to-text service hit one million transcriptions in the first two months since it was launched. CallWave called its Vtxt GIST offering the “first and only summarized voice-to-text transcription service for mobile phone voicemail.” It pulls key words and phrases to deliver the sender’s gist in a single text message.
