Capps Speaks Out Against Unsafe Toys

Representative Lois Capps scheduled a stop at Alameda Park’s playground to talk about unsafe toys, including the millions of items from Barbie furniture to Sesame Street dolls that were recalled earlier this year by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission due to unsafe levels of lead. A day earlier, California Attorney General Jerry Brown filed a lawsuit against Mattel and 19 other manufacturers for the same reason.
