SB School Superintendant Named Chair of National Teachers Network

Santa Barbara County’s Superintendent of Schools, Bill Cirone, was named chair of the national Teachers Network this week. A New York based non-profit dedicated to improving the professional development of educators as means to improved student achievement, the Teacher’s Network first kicked off its international grant program several years ago in Santa Barbara with the Impact II program. Cirone will head a 5-person board.
