Source code of Westmont College’s website was recently sabotaged when a Canadian pharmaceutical company exploited vulnerability in the site’s web publishing software-WordPress-in an attempt to “artificially increase” its own Google ranking, said Scott Craig, spokesman for Westmont College. According to WordPress, Westmont College was running an outdated version of the software. No personal information was compromised and Westmont changing their web publishing software.
