Montecito couple Marsha and Jay Glazer gave $1 million to UCSB to support a Jewish studies program at the school. The gift will also launch an endowed chair in Jewish Studies. The funding will support faculty, research, programming, and student support in the program. The university is hoping the gift will be a springboard for growth and expansion in the department in the coming years.
