A small airplane flying from San Luis Obispo to Santa Paula made an emergency landing at Rancho San Fernando Rey on 12/10. The plane’s pilot reported engine failure, but there was no damage to the biplane, and the pilot was uninjured. The field the man chose to land his plane was used as a helicopter base during the Zaca Fire this summer.
