DP Opens New Performing Arts Center

In an official ribbon cutting ceremony featuring performances by music students, the Dos Pueblos High School Performing Arts Center had its grand opening on 11/27.

Hiking Rim to Rim of the Grand Canyon

Grand Canyon National Park slices the Colorado Desert like a deep, open wound, the Colorado River flowing freely like a severed artery. Teetering on the South Rim, I imagined the canyon’s visitors as something akin to being medically corrupt-a throng of grunge surgeons hovering above the imposing gash.

Idon’t crave a mascara that lengthens as it thickens as it curls. I don’t require a lipstick that renews as it stains as it plumps. I don’t even need a hairspray that protects as it freezes as it boosts. I just want to be pretty. Is that so much to ask?
