On 12/22, Santa Barbara County Fire responded to a call from an on-scene state Fish and Game officer concerning a natural gas leak and a small crude oil spill at a Greka facility. The natural gas was determined to be non-toxic but “explosive and flammable,” according to Capt. Eli Iskow. The spill is being investigated. The county Board of Supervisors meets on 1/15 concerning Greka’s future in light of recent slip-ups.
