The Santa Barbara Police Department announced on 1/4 that Lieutenant Paul McCaffrey will step down as the Department’s public information officer, a position he has held since 2003. Police Chief Cam Sanchez has yet to select a permanent replacement. McCaffrey will be managing the department dispatch center.
