Locals Speak Out Against Slot Machines

The anti-casino People for the Preservation of Santa Ynez and People for the Preservation of Los Olivos on 1/21 released a statement opposing Propositions 94, 95, 96, and 97, which would vastly increase the number of slot machines that could be operated by four Southern California tribes and give a larger percentage of winnings to the state. The statement makes no reference to the Chumash Casino in Santa Ynez, which is not affected by the measures.
