New Transit Center Plans Unveiled

Lack Construction CEO David Lack unveiled on 2/15 his revised plan for transforming the Metropolitan Transit District Center at Chapala and Carrillo streets. Reduced from 60 feet to 45 feet in height, the proposed design sports a fa§ade that better blends with the nearby Hotel Canary, contains an organic food court, and aims to attain the highest possible structure sustainability rating. The City has requested that the complex also include underground parking and a mix of commercial and residential space.
