The Santa Barbara School District announced last week that Assistant Superintendent Paul Turnbull will be leaving the district this June to take over as the superintendent of the Santa Ynez Valley Union High School District. Turnbull’s departure brings to a close more than six years of administrative service in Santa Barbara Schools, including two years at the helm of both Santa Barbara High School and Goleta Valley Junior High.
