The League of Women Voters on 10/6 hosted the five candidates for Goleta Water District’s Board of Directors-Bill Rosen, Lauren Hanson, James Marino, Larry Mills, and Harry De Witt-at the Goleta Valley Community Center. Candidates each claimed to be interested in water conservation, but also spoke about water’s impact upon agriculture and future development. Harry De Witt is the only incumbent.
