For the second year in a row, corporate movers and environmental shakers converged at Bacara last week for the Wall Street Journal’s ECO:nomics conference, a three-day symposium on business and the environment. Highlights included talks with the CEOs of Google and Ford, a speech by Nobel laureate Al Gore, and Czech President V¡clav Klaus’s attack on Americans’ reliance on government to solve problems rather than the free market.
