Education 3-26

Thu Mar 26, 2009 | 12:00am

Most of the high school students at Laguna Blanca School staged an all-day sit-in on 3/20 to protest the school’s decision not to renew the contracts of history teachers Alethea Tyner Paradis and Kevin Shertzer. School spokesperson Tara Broucqsault would only say that the decision wasn’t economically motivated. Two other staffers-Gwen Bergman, director of college counseling, and Chelsea Dullea, director of student affairs-are also being let go. (/laguna326)
