A federal judge ruled on 6/8 that the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service and the Marine Fisheries Service violated the Endangered Species Act in 2005. The agencies had submitted official biological assessments for the Forest Service’s revised forest plans at that time, which encompassed Los Padres National Forest, but allegedly failed to include measures to minimize harm to endangered wildlife species.
