Wed Jul 22, 2009 | 06:00am

Life in the fast lane requires a hefty load of technological gadgets. But what happens when they get old? Starting this summer, there aren’t any more excuses to toss them in the trash. Movegreen, an S.B.-based eco-friendly moving company, is opening a facility in Goleta to provide free electronic waste recycling to the public, making it one of the only locations offering e-waste services in all of southern S.B. County. So rest assured: Those massive computer monitors and brick-style cell phones may be returned to you in the form of your next new gadget. Items can be dropped off seven days a week at 747 South Kellogg Avenue in Goleta; pickup also is available for a small fee. Call (866) 684-7336 for more info.
