The president and vice president of the influential Santa Barbara County Deputy Sheriff’s Association(DSA), the union representing more than 450 members of the Sheriff’s Department as well as DA investigators, were voted out of office at a member meeting on 5/4. There was reportedly unrest in the DSA’s membership about communication coming from leadership in the union.
