A Westside medical marijuana dispensary—the Healing Center, located at 1437 San Andres Street—was raided on 6/25, resulting in the arrest of owner Juan Carlos Solis, 32. Authorities were mostly mum on the details of the operation, saying only that the dispensary was getting its marijuana illegally and was not operating within the parameters of California’s Compassionate Use Act. Solis had been arrested back in February on the same charges of cultivation and possession of marijuana for sale, but posted bail and re-opened the Healing Center the very next day.
