UCSB to House Haiti Recovery Initiative

UCSB’s Center for Black Studies Research has been chosen as the headquarters for the UC Haiti Initiative (UCHI), a collaborative of faculty and students working on the recovery process post-earthquake. Already the home of an accomplished Haitian studies program, which, among other things publishes the only peer-reviewed journal on Haiti and Haitian culture, UCSB will be the hub from which projects, education, and research on Haiti will come forth.
