Rock Scissors Paper Ball

The Waldorf School Throws a Fine Fete

Fri Nov 12, 2010 | 06:00am

While the Waldorf School has educated Santa Barbara children for more than 25 years, it’s only up to its second annual Paper Ball fundraiser, which happens on Saturday, November 13, 8–11 p.m., at the Brooks Institute’s Gallery 27 (27 E. Cota St.). It’s a grand sandwich, for in addition to the ball itself—featuring hors d’oeuvres and dessert offerings by Kim Schiffer of Fresh! Foods Catering and signature cocktails from Café Luck, Square One, Blue Agave, and The Palace Grill—the event will also be preceded by a dinner at Square One and followed by an after-party at Café Luck. That Square One dinner will be an amazing Chef Pink extravaganza, four delectable courses paired with regional wines and limited to a mere 35 guests. The post-event party at Café Luck just means the fun never ends. See www.waldorfsantabarbara.org/paper-ball-2010 or call 967-6656. And get working on your best paper costume, too.
