Thu Dec 02, 2010 | 12:00am

The county’s Social Host Liability Ordinance—which was passed by the Board of Supervisors on 6/15—will go into effect on 12/1 and will make it illegal for anyone having a party to allow minors to drink alcohol. First-time offenders will be slapped with a $500 fine and required educational class. Second offenses will cost $1,000, and a third strike means a $2,000 penalty.
