More Protection for Mobile Home Park Residents?

The county is moving forward on an ordinance it hopes to have in place later this year that would provide greater protection for people living in the county’s 18 mobile home parks. The ordinance would provide better regulation for the closure or conversion of mobile home parks. County officials have talked about a model similar to that of San Luis Obispo County, which requires an applicant looking to close or switch a park to obtain a conditional use permit.
