15 Laptops Stolen from Washington School

Computers Valued at $800 Apiece; Discovered Missing Saturday Morning

Fifteen laptop computers were reported stolen from Washington School over the weekend. According to Santa Barbara Police Department spokesperson Sgt. Lorenzo Duarte, the computers — which were kept in a cart in one of the school’s classrooms — were last seen Friday, August 26. An employee discovered the machines missing the next morning.

The computers were described as white MacBook Pro laptops worth $800 each. Anyone with information on the theft is encouraged to call Detective Dan McGrew at (805) 897-2330.
