The Montecito Trails Foundation held its annual fall BBQ and fundraiser last weekend at Hal and Mary Coffin’s ranch. Attended by 170 people, the 47th installment of the event featured live music by Steve Woods, a beer wagon, a margarita bar, a fajita lunch, and a silent auction and raffle of works created by many area artists including Laurie Brecheen-Ballard, who donated a bronze horse sculpture. In addition to the Hike-it, Bike-it, and Hoof-it activities, the Foundation added a Trail Running Race.

Funds raised at the event support the acquisition, preservation, and maintenance of Santa Barbara’s trail system within Montecito, Summerland, and Carpinteria.
