What Is Heroic?

It may be heroic for a soldier to pull a wounded buddy back from the battlefield. But it is neither heroic nor ethical for our poverty-stricken youth to be enticed into the U.S. military and trained to kill whomever the current enemy of the United States is deemed to be.

America makes and sells more weapons of every description than most other nations put together. We love violence. It’s our core belief. It’s our national pastime. Regarding Aurora, is it any wonder that some civilians copy America’s ordained/government-sanctioned killers, that is, our military, by murdering people anytime, anywhere, for any reason or for no reason at all?
