O.C. Supervisors Still Mulling CEO Decision

While many in Santa Barbara expected an announcement on 3/5 out of the Orange County Board of Supervisors about appointing a new CEO, none was made. Santa Barbara County CEO Chandra Wallar, who came here just over two years ago to replace Mike Brown, is considered a top candidate to take over in O.C., one of the largest counties in the country. Without an announcement coming from the board’s closed-session meeting this week, it’s unclear what the next step is for the Orange County Board of Supervisors in their decision-making process.
