Montecito Bank & Trust President Janet Garufis has been named president of the board of the Scholarship Foundation of Santa Barbara. A board member since 2009, Garufis also serves on bevy of boards in the region, including those of the Chamber of Commerce, Sansum Clinic, and Habitat for Humanity. Since arriving in Santa Barbara in 2002 with the original intent of studying education at UCSB, Garufis has become a mainstay in the South Coast’s business and philanthropic communities.
