Warning Signs Removed From Beaches

Three days after Santa Barbara County environmental health officials posted warning signs at four South Coast Beaches for heightened bacteria levels — advising people stay out of the water until conditions improved — the yellow warning placards were removed on 7/11. The signs were posted at El Capitán State Beach, Sands Beach, Butterfly Beach, and Arroyo Burro Beach and are part of the county’s regular ocean water testing and program.
