The Santa Barbara City Council received an update this week on the long-simmering lawsuit filed by the owners of the Green Well medical marijuana dispensary, formerly located on Milpas Street. The owners claim they were shut down without due compensation after having gone through the city’s review process and having been granted all the necessary city permits. The dispensary was shut down after the city changed its medical pot ordinance. That case is scheduled to go to trial this December.
