To support the Return to Freedom (RTF) American Wild Horse Sanctuary in Lompoc, Santa Barbaran Marie Thorne-Thomsen has launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise $10,000 by October 24. Thorne-Thomsen is asking for the money to create wall-size photos she took of the sanctuary’s approximately 400 mustangs, many rescued after round-ups by the federal Bureau of Land Management.
