Goleta Planning Commissioner Meg West announced this week that she is running for one of two open seats on the Goleta Water District’s Board of Directors. In her work as a landscape architect and host of Garden Wise on Channel 18, West said she has helped people learn to save water and wants to do the same as a boardmember. “If elected, I will use my expertise in sustainable landscaping to help ensure that Goleta Water District customers have access to safe, clean drinking water at an affordable price,” she said.
