Several small explosions rattled the 500 block of Quarantina Street on Sunday afternoon when a fire broke out in a storage unit at Hofmann Architecture, which specializes in renovating and remodeling Airstream trailers. The explosions were thought to be bursting propane tanks, but city fire crews were able to knock down the blaze in relatively short order. While the fire damaged the storage unit and much of the equipment inside, the trailers were spared and no injuries were reported. The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
